Best takeout Chinese in Frederick. The Sesame chicken is outstanding. Reasonably priced dishes as well.
Food was excellent!! Service was great. We got soup with our lunch special as well as choice of spring roll or 2 crab Rangoon. They even brought hot towels to wipe our hands before we ate. Not only did we did get the token fortune cookies after our meal but they also brought 2 almond cookies. They also brought out fried wonton strips(?) with sweet and sour sauce (?) to dip the strips in. Will definitely be back if we are in the area again. Bathrooms were clean and very nice looking restaurant.
(This review is based on a delivery order) I am ***still*** searching for excellent Chinese food in Frederick. Wonton soup has nice thin dough for wonton, but the filling is average and the broth is bland. My shrimp dish was ok, but the sweet and sticky sauce was mostly "sweet and sticky" -- yet it was definitely better than average! We also had Sichuan Beef and Kung Pao Chicken -- the beef was "ok", nothing special. The chicken was pretty darn good! Summer rolls were very good, they are a favorite dish of mine. (I plan on ordering again or eating in the restaurant.)
There's a reason why this place has a line for takeout AND seating on a rainy Wednesday night. Food is good, menu is extensive, staff is knowable, they're good at understanding things like gluten free and other allergies. Portions are great too. Truly a great takeout spot and it's reasonably priced too.
This place is amazing. Me and boyfriend just moved up here from Atlanta and we're not used to the area. I saw the good reviews and decided to try it out. First of all, Grace was amazing! Super polite and patient with me,while it was busy on a Friday night. I had just got off work and my food was right there ready for me right when I came in despite the businesses. The food was amazzinggg! I ordered tofu with shrimp and rice noodles, egg rolls, and General Tao. We're definitely coming back. Thank you for the great food and service!
They continue to be my go-to and they are consistently delicious with fast and friendly service. I'm not kidding - we are usually eating in under ten minutes! And while everyone else is raising prices - they continue to dish up giant portions at a great price point. We had lunch today for two, under $35! And then we had lunch leftovers for at least two days. Love this place.
We were shopping in the area and decided to place an order for pick up to take home. This time, we used their online ordering system. The order was accepted and I received a confirmation number. However, I never received an e-mail confirmation. We drove over and was there about 10 minutes later. Still no confirmation number, so I went inside assuming the order never went through. I spoke to the lady at the counter and she said sometimes the orders do not go through. So I ordered everything again and then paid. It was then, that I realized that the online ordering is never going to work. The prices online are significantly lower than their current menu prices. My online order total was $35. Ordering the same items in the restaurant was $47. So the point of this, if you are reading is, the prices you see online are not the current prices and unless/until those prices get updated, I cannot imagine their online orders will work. As for our food, it was very good as always. It is one of the better Chinese take-outs style food we have found and the portions are generous. The service for take-out was about 10 minutes and there is a bench to sit and wait while I waited for our order. Although we did not dine inside, the restaurant was full and lots of people were coming and going on a Saturday evening.
